Where is Búzios?
Buzios is a beautiful seaside town located in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is about 170 km (106 mi) east of the city of Rio de Janeiro, on a small peninsula that extends to the Atlantic Ocean. Known for its stunning beaches and charming atmosphere, Buzios is a popular destination for both Brazilian and international visitors.

Alternative airport: São Paulo International Airport (GRU), connecting to GIG via frequent one-hour flights (the drive from this airport to Buzios takes more than 8 hours).
How to get to Búzios?
Conference Shuttle Service The organization will provide round-trip transportation (GIG ↔ Hotel Atlântico Búzios) at special prices. The departure from Rio de Janeiro International Airport (GIG) will be on the morning of August 2, 2026. The return will be on August 7 from the Hotel Atlântico Búzios, in the early afternoon.
Travel time is approximately 3 to 4 hours.
Please ensure that your return international flight does not depart before 9:00 p.m. on August 7, 2026 to use this option.
For different time schedules, there are private companies that organize transfers to/from Búzios (further information will be provided). Regular bus lines are less convenient for foreigners. There is no train connection to Búzios.
Accommodation
There are many accommodation options within walking distance of the Convention Center of the Hotel Atlântico Búzios, with a variety of prices. They can be booked through international hotel booking platforms (e.g., Trivago, Booking.com, Hotels.com).
The organization will reserve a number of rooms at the Hotel Atlântico Búzios, but the remaining rooms (if any) can be booked independently.
Food and Dinner
Coffee breaks will be provided during the scientific program and are included in the registration fee.
Lunch and dinner are not included, but Buzios offers a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and bars within walking distance of the conference venue. Options range from casual dining to fine dining.
Most restaurants accept credit cards. We recommend checking opening hours in advance, especially for dinner, as some establishments may open later in the evening. Tips and dining recommendations will be available prior to the event.
